The Richard E. Lindner Athletic Center has been awarded LEED Certification by the USGBC.
glaserworks is the architect of record; Bernard Tschumi, the design architect.
The steel diagrid frame of the exterior wall acts as a five-story truss, which towards the north end of the building, spans 140 feet to avoid penetrating an existing mechanical room.
The two underground floors of the building contain locker rooms and a practice gymnasium. The ground floor contains ticketing and the Heritage Lounge. Upper floors contain offices, an auditorium, and the faculty club. The concourse level contains Student Health.
Bernard Tschumi has offices in New York and Paris.
