Deerfield Towne Center
The Deerfield Towne Center - Village Square project is a 31 acre, Mixed Use, Suburban Infill development. It is located adjacent to a life-style center, The Deerfield Towne Center, in the northern Cincinnati suburb of Deerfield Township in Warren County, Ohio.
The Village Square project contains a 5 acre area for mixed use (office / retail) buildings, a 10 acre area for a sixteen-screen movie cinema, and a 15 acre area for a residential townhouse development. glaserworks worked with the developer, Casto, and the civil engineers and landscape architects of Bayer-Becker to plan this community based on New Urbanist principles of pedestrian scaled, compact neighborhood design, even though the project is located squarely in a sprawling, vehicle-dominant, suburban context.
The project has received the necessary zoning approvals. Construction of the infrastructure for the mixed use and cinema portions of the project began in March 2006. glaserworks is also the architect for mixed use buildings. Construction of those began in August 2006.
