A primary function of a laboratory / research environment is to stimulate the creative thinking process and promote innovation through social interaction and collaboration. glaserworks utilizes this same process to achieve a design that both supports and enhances the learning environment. Proper research and study during the design process is just as crucial to the functional aesthetic of the space as the experiments and research performed in the completed facility are to the associated discipline.
Design collaboration involves strategically selecting consultants that are proficient and extremely knowledgeable in the functions of this design typology. These environments are often very sensitive to extremes in temperature, humidity, air quality, cleanliness, acoustical transmission, and security, requiring a delicate balance between function, aesthetic, and performance. glaserworks takes pride in managing these types of design and construction challenges.
