Parks, zoos and other places for recreation are as vital to vibrant, livable cities as housing or schools. Their character and requirements are various. A park may provide a passive environment to be enjoyed according to individual desires. A zoo exhibit must meet exacting technical standards while remaining entertaining, educational and, ultimately, profitable. Others spaces still, like amphitheaters, have to efficiently and safely accommodate a variety of scheduled events. Common to all, however, is the need for collaboration.
Recreational facilities typically represent the interests, often conflicting, of a wide range of individuals and entities ranging from patrons and users to technical staff and management companies to funding agencies and local governments. Collaboration is the heart of glaserworks' methodology, and we are adept at consensus-building. The result is better architecture satisfying the specific needs and desires of individual clients. Collaboration extends to our design team as well. We tailor teams of professional staff and expert consultants specifically for each project.
Collaboration, experience, design and management skills, and fiscal and environmental responsibility have allowed us to turn our clients' aspirations into some of Cincinnati's most cherished landmarks and sought after destinations.
